The AP Law Firm Legal Scholarship

It is with great pleasure that the team at AP Law Group offers this legal scholarship. At our Houston-based personal injury law firm, we believe in the power of education. Moreover, we understand how important it is to pay it forward and give back to our community.

In offering this annual scholarship, we hope to help students interested in law pursue their dreams. For those enrolled at accredited universities in the United States, we want to offer this financial assistance to ensure they have the help they need as they work towards their future.

Criteria

In order to apply for the AP Law Group legal scholarship, applicants must be enrolled at an accredited university in the United States. With that said, this scholarship is open to students pursuing degrees in Political Science, Pre-Law, and English with the intent to enter law school. Our team will award this scholarship based on need and the student’s commitment to helping others.

Amount

The AP Law Group scholarship provides a one-time award of $1,000 to one (1) winner and should be used for books, tuition, and educational expenses.

Scholarship Requirements

Draft an essay of no more than 1200 words. In your essay, detail your commitment to helping others better their lives through the legal system. In addition, applicants should detail how they intend to utilize the law as a means of giving back to their community.

All submitted materials – including essays, videos, and photos – must be the original work of the applicant.
Students must provide proof of enrollment at an accredited university in the U.S. Examples of this include a copy of your tuition bill or an official letter from your school confirming enrollment.
One (1) submission may be entered per student per year. Duplicate entries amount to automatic disqualification.
All scholarships are not renewable.

Additionally, in submitting your application to The AP Law Group Legal Scholarship, you certify that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

Deadline

The deadline to apply for this legal scholarship is December 10, 2021. Following this deadline, our team will select and announce a winner by December 31st.

AP Law Group will notify the winner by phone or email in addition to making an announcement via our website and any social media channels.

Privacy Policy: By applying to this legal scholarship, applicants automatically grant AP Law Group permission to post their name, university, photo (as provided), and essay to the AP Law Group website in addition to marketing and PR materials. In applying, applicants grant AP’s team permission to call and/or email information regarding the application.

User Communications: When you send email communications to AP Law Group or its representatives, we may retain logs of these communications to process or respond to inquiries or applications related to the legal scholarship.

AP Law Group and its representatives will never sell, share, rent, or otherwise transfer applicants’ information other than by terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

Through your participation in applying to this scholarship, you give AP your express consent to confirm your admission to and attendance at the university or college listed in your application by contacting the institution for verification.
